BOOKING THE ONSITE BEAUTY ARTISTRY TEAM

We try to make the booking process as seamless as possible. After reading our rates, FAQ's and the information below and you're ready to inquire to book a wedding with Onsite Beauty, an inquiry form is required to be filled out. We make priority to referrals from past brides so please make sure to note that in your inquiry form. Once we have reviewed your inquiry form, we will reach out whether we are able to take your booking. Please note that during peak wedding season, May through September, our responses may be delayed, and you may email us for an update. Once we connect, we will send over our contract for you to review with your wanted services for the wedding day. Please fully read the contract when it arrives to your email. We know its long, but we want to make sure that everything is fully understood before moving forward. If you have questions about booking with us or any about the contract, we can schedule an optional 30-minute facetime/zoom call to help answer all burning questions to ease your worries. A signed contract and non-refundable retainer are due time of booking in order to lock in your date. Until those have been received, other bookings will be considered. All WA travel rates are based from Rosé Beauty Bar to the getting ready location and all AZ travel rates are based from Phoenix Sky International Airport. A standard $1.15 per mile travel fee is applied to all bookings unless the trip is 150+ miles round trip in which a custom quote will be created.

EVERYTHING TRIALS

Once you have booked Onsite Beauty Artistry for your wedding, it's time to start thinking and searching for all your inspiration for your hair and makeup trial. Please note, trials are only offered to booked brides. Hair and makeup trials are so important because it allows us to set the true tone to your wedding day and really be able to get to know each other. This is also a great opportunity to ask any questions that are easier to answer in person. Brooke is typically at Rosé when trials are held but that is not guaranteed so if your Lead Artist can't answer, we will make sure to relay the questions to her so she can reach out to you. We book trials for our brides 1-3 months prior to your wedding date. We will reach out roughly four months prior to the wedding date to get you booked with your Lead Artist. We typically book trials Monday-Thursday depending on your Lead Artist schedule for the week and will send multiple options once we know your availability. Friday-Sunday is not guaranteed as an option during peak season, May through September, as we are typically booked on a wedding or had a long wedding weekend that we need to recover from. Please expect to have your trial take anywhere between 1.5 hours to 3 hours as making changes and running over information can take time.

HOW TO PREPARE

First things first, "Say Yes to the Dress"! Knowing the neckline, color, and style of your wedding dress plays a HUGE factor in the style you will want for your hair and makeup for the big day. Make sure to have a photo on your phone to show to your Lead Artist.

Are you planning on making a big change for your wedding day to your hair such as color or hair extensions? Or are you planning on getting your brows waxed? Or even get a spray tan? Then do those services for your trial as well. Everything is taken into consideration when doing your trial, but a spray tan or hair color can change the final product of how you see your wedding day hair and makeup. We want you to see the full look and be 100% happy with everything. Plus, if you do your services prior to your trial, it's a trial for those services as well causing less stress for your wedding day overall. 

WHAT TO BRING

Collect at least 3-5 inspiration photos for both your hair and makeup. Try and find hair inspiration that takes in account your natural length, density, and color of your hair.  We recommend taking a look at our Instagram, Rosé website and Pinterest to have multiple sources.

It is important to keep in mind that Pinterest photos are often edited and taken in the best light and also, they typically have hair extensions in almost every style you will find.

If you are planning on having bridal accessories added to your hair style, bring those as well. We will want to play with the placement and honestly, the more you move those pieces, it pulls on individual strands of hair causing messy hair and we don't want that for the big day. If you don't have an accessory, we also sell them at Rosé for you to either have options to try out or purchase.

When you come to your trial, plan to wear a top that has a similar neckline and color of your wedding dress. We want you to be able to get as much of an idea of how these styles will pair with your dress.

WHAT TO EXPECT

When you arrive at Rosé Beauty Bar for your trial, you will be greeted by your Lead Artist for your wedding day. She will get you settled in, grab you a beverage and get the process started. Tell your Lead Artist everything! The styles you like, the styles you don't like and everything in between! We always want this to be an easy, smooth process for you to get comfortable. Please, please, please be completely honest and transparent about how you feel with the look we create with you. When you work with us, you are in a safe space to let us know what's on your mind and we will be transparent with you as well. Beauty is an art, not an exact science. We know and understand that everyone has their own style on what they like, and we are also the wedding professionals so we will work with both those things in mind to create the look of your dreams. We want YOU to be 100% happy. During a trial, we may nail it in one shot, or we will have to make many changes. Remember that a trial with changes will cause messier makeup and frizzier hair. That just comes with the territory of moving something you place precisely. We make note everything we discuss so that on the wedding day, you just get to sit back and relax while we create the perfect look for you.

WEDDING DAY

TIMELINE

Once you know what your photographer timeline is for when everyone needs to be in their attire, we can start writing the timeline. We will take that information and be able to write you a timeline best suited for how many services are being provided and how many allotted artists you are contracted for. Once Brooke & the Lead Artist have a draft, we will send it over for approval that it works for you as well. A timeline has a hard start and final done time but the timing in between for each service gives us the flow in which the services take, they are not appointment times. Sometimes an Artist or a style will take a little longer or faster and the next person needs to be ready to go. Please let everyone know to be there roughly 15 minutes before our arrival time or 30 minutes prior to when they would like their service time slot. Onsite Beauty has final approval over the timeline and service timing is non-negotiable. Please note that it is extremely common to not be able to get ready at the venue due to not being able to arrive early enough to be able to complete everyone. Hotels and Airbnb's are the most common places we will provide services based on timing.

HAIR & MAKEUP PREPARATION 

HAIR: Arrive to the getting ready space with clean, dry (unless adding a blow dry), smooth hair. When we say clean, we mean washing your hair the night prior to the big day. If you wash your hair the morning of, we cannot guarantee that your hair will hold for the longevity of a wedding day. Remember, in order to have a smooth style, you will need smooth hair. Applying products that have smoothing, frizz eliminating capabilities, such as Olaplex N6, while blow drying will help create that foundation. Please do not use a hair oil to solve frizziness, we do not want to fry your hair and we have products on hand that will be suited better. Coconut oil and whatever else your kitchen holds is a strict no before hot tool styling.

MAKEUP: Night before your makeup service, wash, exfoliate, and moisturize your skin. If you have very dry skin, we recommend either using an intense hydrating moisturizer and/or applying a sheet mask so your skin can soak up all the hydration.  Morning of, wash and moisturize only. The smoother, hydrated and clean your skin is, the better your makeup application will be, and it will help extend the longevity of the application. Please avoid applying an SPF with an active ingredient of Zinc Oxide and Titanium Oxide because these can cause flashback in professional photography causing you to look extremely washed out.

If you are an additional person, bridesmaid, mother of bride, etc., remember to bring a lip color that you would like to touch up with throughout the day. We unfortunately cannot guarantee that a lip color will last longer than 2 hours.

GETTING READY SPACE

When your Bridal Team arrives, please have the space you would like us to work in ready to go. This means chairs are by the table, table/ countertop is cleared of all clutter and the space is clear of any other clutter. This will allow for an easier set up time meaning we can get started a little earlier. The ideal space to get ready in has lots of natural light (not in the bathroom), room to work in, and not directly in the area you will all be hanging out in. Having the service area adjacent to where you will be is easiest, so we are able to keep grabbing people as we are ready.

For makeup services, we prefer tall chair such as a bar/counter stool. If that's not available, having a pillow you are okay with people sitting on handy is nice just in case. For hair services, a medium to shorter chair with a low back is best. An office chair with an adjustable height works great as well. An area with a large table, such as a dining table or folding table, or countertop is best and out of the way of where you will be eating. Our kits are stocked with everything we need to be able to service anyone and everyone so that means we need lots of space. A side table or small counter will not work especially if you have multiple Artists on your wedding day.

Please also remove any animals that wonder, cats & dogs, out of the room we will be providing the services. We cannot have an animal in between our feet while working or even potentially knocking a hot iron off a table. If there are children in the getting ready space, talk to them prior about how they cannot poke around our working area as we do not want any accidents to happen. As much as we love your furry family members and cute, curious kids, we want everyone to be safe and burn free.
